Your guide to get moving safely on the Faraday Spine
WARNING: Driving and operating an Electric Skateboard can be very dangerous!
Take great care when riding the Faraday Spine and show high alertness in traffic.
Any use of the Faraday Spine and its components is your own responsibility.
NOTE: The Faraday Spine is built with the use of 3D Printed plastic parts, which are potentially less strong/durable than standard plastics. Thus, be very careful and make sure to check up on the condition of the parts before going for a ride. Especially those parts that are critical for movement, such as the gear and the motor bracket etc.
Always replace 3D printed parts immediately if damaged.

Longboarding involves certain inherent risks and dangers which can result in serious personal injuries. When going downhill, even on just slightly incline ground, the Spine will pick up high speeds which may be uncontrollable to an inexperienced rider. Therefore, ride the Spine slowly and only on flat ground, until you're completely familiar with riding this product and can then progressively develop your skills to ride it on hilly grounds.

Always inspect your board before riding. Make sure the quick-release knobs are securely tightened (Leaving the knob lose will cause it to unscrew while riding, potentially resulting in serious harm and injury). Check all wheels and nuts before riding and be sure they are properly tightened. Immediately replace excessively worn shock, bearings, wheels, or cracked parts.

Be sure to wear proper safety to wear proper safety gear, such as a helmet, elbow and knee pads.

For riders ages 10 or older. Do not exceed 240 lbs (108,862 Kg) on the board.

Children must be supervised by an adult when riding the board.

You will not be able to break if your battery is disconnected from the electronics.

Avoid riding with sandals or barefoot. Wear athletic shoes, making sure to keep laces and other loose articles of clothing away from the wheels and trucks.

Be sure to break in your shock. Ride it slowly on a flat surface at low speed for a minimum of 5 minutes.

Never ride down a hill or at high speeds with soft torsion shock setting in the truck. You will lose control.
Be sure to have at minimum one red in each truck. -
Avoid large bumps, rocks and water. Do not ride in very wet or icy conditions.

It is not recommended that you ride your Spine at dusk or night. If it is necessary, be sure to take precautions, such as wearing light colored clothes and reflectors. Be aware of traffic, pedestrians, and your surroundings.

Do not wear anything that obstructs hearing, visibility, or function when riding the board.

This board is easier to control on flat paved surfaces. Be very careful when riding on loose gravel and steep hills.
